Its prom season once again! I am so excited… I love taking pictures of teens especially when they are all dressed up.
This years theme for the flyers has a fairy tale-ish feel to it. I want to thank the wonderful models who did such a great job posing in that COLD weather.

I have so many photographer friends and its cool to share ideas and techniques. I usually stay in contact with them via email or instant messaging. But this time I had the privilege of doing a SWAP session. Where we both took pictures of each other. It was so funny because I’m so used to being behind the camera that it felt a little weird taking direction and having posing. LOL. It was totally cool and I learned some new things, both from the technical aspect and from the client aspect. Not to mention that I loved so many of my pics!! here are some of him and some of me… Enjoy!!

I know that its not the time or weather for senior portraits, but this session and senior are very unique. Recently I had the pleasure of capturing a remarkable young lady’s essence. Miss Trisha is a trooper not only at the session but also in life. She was unable to have her senior portraits done at the beginning of the year because of personal circumstances, but I am honored to have been chosen to take them. She is truly a beautiful soul both inside and out. Though the snow and the weather were quite an obstacle, you would have never known it. She never once showed how cold she was. Hats off to you, Miss Trisha!!
Between moving and preparing to update the new site, I didn’t know if I would have time to book any sessions for this month. But I am glad that I did.
This session has been in the making for some time now and I finally am able to share the first stage of it J . Mr. V is working on his upcoming album due to be released in June 2008 (his voice is amazing!) and he has given me the honor of capturing his essence for his album cover. I am so excited to also be collaborating with him as one of the design team members!!
Although I was feeling a bit under the weather, Mr V. and I were able to pull through on his first session, especially with the temperature at 11 degrees! But this man is a trooper, he never once showed how cold it really was. Instead he evoked so many emotions and played around with different poses. His shots give you the impression of a different day, a warm one, LOL. I am so glad to have had him as the first client of the new year and I look forward to our other sessions! He is truly a wonderful artist and humble person to work with. A man with a child like heart
